Face Front, True Believer! We're well into the fifteenth year of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so deep that we didn't notice when the third Iron Man movie celebrated a decade months ago. Illegal Machine, Diabolu Frank and Mr. Fixit fulfill contractual obligations to cover Shane Black's follow-up to the movie that revived Robert Downey Jr.'s career, the vastly superior Kiss Kiss Bang Bang... oh, and also the Iron Manses, we guess. Three times the Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) Potts, Don (Terrence Howard) Cheadle, and even an UnHappy (Jon Favreau) Hogan (not to mention another cameo by Stan "The Man" Lee himself!) Yet, it still rests around the bottom of most MCU rankings, aside from the Box Office ones? Plus, relatively spoiler-free Secret Invasion half-season criticism from Frank! Excelsior!

Illegal Machine & Mr. Fixit observe the conclusion of the Ant-Man trilogy that directly contradicts the previous film and also technically this is the second "...and the Wasp" flick even though she's barely a blip in it also launch of Phase Five plus Loki but all the Kangs, too! Funny? Actiony? Auntie? Just be glad Frank sat this one out, or it would have been 200 minutes of gripes with a 90 minute stinger! We're barely over 45 minutes for the entire thing as a duo! You want more of this, right? Excelsior!

Revisit Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and basically every single minor character from the first movie plus better than half a dozen new characters that largely replicate the roles served by those remaindered characters from the first movie to unquestionably diminishing returns! Face Front, True Believer! Our attempts to record an episode on the Jessica Jones TV show from Netflix have been plagued by delays and technical difficulties, including only recording five minutes of an hour-long first try that mostly centered on co-hosts Illegal Machine and Diabolu Frank! We finally got a full length show "on tape," with a fired-up Mister Fixit besides, so sorry that the audio quality is like unto tin cans connected by string! First we give an overview of the history of Marvel Comics' adults-only MAX imprint, with special mentions for Punisher, Nick Fury, and... Rawhide Kid? Then we look at Alias, the three year long solo series where the super-heroine Jewel, A.K.A. Jessica Jones, made her debut (and which provided the source material for the television adaptation!) Finally, we get into the TV show itself, which trades Carol Danvers for Trish Walker as the star's bestie and emphasizes Luke Cage as her love interest (in his own live action debut!) Excelsior!

Guy's probably got balls of blue, having recorded much of this show over a year ago, and placed in deep freeze until we were ready for him to defrost au flambé to entertain you! Then, original W.A.M. Man Count Drunkula of Secret Origins Podcast and Flowers & Fishnets: A Black Canary Podcast takes audio Frank specifically told him he had no interest in broadcasting that was part of a warm-up chat for one of his podcasts, emailed it to Frank anyway, and our boy shamelessly threw it in to expand this show! Next, dated film material recorded on our original ghetto rig, because as we proved last week, we don't throw much of anything out. The case in favor of heavy editing begins at 33:09 with Sony Spider-Man talk (and if you want to do one of those Marvel Omnibus cuts, this would be seated right after the Daredevil discussion featured in the extended Sub-Mariner section from the 2014 Annual-- Rascally Roy!) Then we talk about Batman v Superman some more, but in the past, like a flashback! Ooo, temporal paradox! 41:39 brings us to the Josh Trank Fantastic Four flick.
